The KIWL Lite event is a very casual and informal weekend of cycling for experienced riders who may have been unable to take part in our 4-day event.

It is usually 2 days of cycling and two nights in accommodation and is approximately 250kms in distance. Previous years have taken us to some beautiful locations in Fukushima, Hakuba, and Izu.

This year, we are taking part in the Cycle Aid Japan's Tour de Inawashiro event. If you want to join us, you will need to apply to enter the event at this link:

We shall spend two nights at the APA Hotel Ekimae in Koriyama on Friday September 25th and Saturday September 26th.

Cycling is a potentially hazardous activity that may result in serious injury or death due to, for example, poor road conditions, unfamiliar roads, poor weather conditions, over-exertion, mechanical failure of equipment, collision with vehicles, and/or riding at high speeds. There are other inherent risks involved with participation in the Event including, but not limited to, contracting COVID-19 or other virus or illness; lack of or limited availability to medical attention; risks associated with the consumption of alcohol; and/or equipment failure. Participants accept all of these risks by participating in the Event.
