If your preferred method of fitness is running and you want to give back, this event is ideal for fit and experienced athletes.
The objective on Saturday December 9th is to raise ¥2 million for Mirai no Mori by running an ultra marathon of 55kms (or half-distance option) as an individual or in teams of 2-4, from Ojima Komatsugawa Park on the Arakawa river, up to a children's home in Kawagoe where you will meet the kids for whom you are raising money. A fitting end to an amazing achievement.
What's more, an evening celebration at the Coedo Craft Beer brewery in Kawagoe awaits the participants to round off a truly memorable day.
Entry fee is a provisional ¥5,500 (includes running vest & transportation to post-run party) and in the KIWL spirit of ''getting fit and giving back'', each participant is expected to raise a minimum of ¥30,000 for Mirai no Mori.
Places are limited. To be considered for entry, please complete the entry form below and email it back as a scanned attachment to email@example.com by Friday September 15th.
